Everybody knows that arpeggios kick ass. If you listen to classical composers such as Bach or Paganini, you'll hear a lot of arpeggios which really give that awesome touch to their compositions. Here are a couple of basic arpeggios for you to get started.
The first sequence is in A major, played in twos, followed by a sequence in A minor, also played in twos. Similarly, there are two more sequences played in A major and A minor, but in triplets rather than twos.
Attached are tuxguitar tabs so if you want, practice them through tuxguitar, which gives you the added option of slowing down or speeding up the tempo.
As always, practice these with a metronome. And make sure you play them with perfect downstrokes and upstrokes to get better at alternate picking. Enjoy!
