OK, the ‘Accuracy’ stuff …
I used C Major, but picked Em, F and G as my chords, hence this is a bit metally sounding (shocking, I know) — modally you get Phrygian, Lydian and Mixolydian out of those chords with C Major as the scale. Phrygian being the most ‘off’ of a major scale ends up being the dominating flavor.
Came together pretty fast. Programmed out some patterns, played the rhythm track, then did the harmonies at the beginning — those came from a small noodle that just seemed like it should be harmonized … 10 minutes later I had a harmonized intro :)
The lead channel is 1 take, 2nd or 3rd try and while there’s a little slop and a mistake here or there, it was ‘good enough’ so I kept it.
