Apparently, if you’re an aspiring Jazz guy and you play Soul it’ll sound like Smooth Jazz.
In this one I lifted the chords from Marvyn Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” and played them with an acoustic mode in my Fender. The drums are a rock beat that I slowed down and swung a little then changed the kit to someting softer. The lead guitar is just my Fender but run through my Line 6 pedal to get a bit of nice reverb and stereo imaging, not much more. Apart from those little effects that’s just how that guitar sounds on the good days.
I was going to play this through my amp but it was too late at night. The lead sounds much less mechanical through the amp.
