Hey Folks,

Currently getting a bunch of changes and fixes up onto the live site and putting a few more goodies. If your submission never goes through, then it may be because I shut it down at just the wrong time.

If you want to check out what’s going on, I’m basically slowly cleaning up some more of the UI and fixing things that are borked. So far I’ve got:

• Notification emails are more robust (with the right Round # and who submitted) and will become more “emergent”.
• Better RSS feed that covers the big parts of the site in one spot: http://fretwar.com/rss/feed.xml
• Better player page http://fretwar.com/player/1 that has tabs for your submissions and gear, with submissions first. This currently has a few cosmetic screwups but that’s the main gist of it. Not that these tab contents are loaded dynamically off the server.
• Forum top-level is now on the main page in place of “featured player”. I like you guys, but Chad is right, the forum has activity people are interested in and it’s pretty small to display right there.

Coming up hopefully in the next few hours:

• Properly handling emails that have html and text parts (right now it just flakes out).
• Remove Flowplayer and put in the player I’m using on songbe.at.
• All your profile edit stuff on one page, like notifications, picture, etc.
