Alright party people, Fret War is now running on a real PostgreSQL database so we should be able to handle multiple users better and have more stable deployments.

Everyone, myself included, seems to be out of time this round because of the holidays. I personally won't have time to do the show this week, and couldn't find time last night to work on my submission.

Round 2 was awesome. We had 9 submissions total, which actually is the perfect number to make the show. It fits into a tight top 10 countdown, and kept the show at about 35 minutes without having to cut anyone's submission short.

I just finished crafting Episode 1 of the show. This is a first try at it, so give me feedback on the format, production, sound quality, etc.

Now for the moment of truth. We've been hacking on Fret War for almost a month now, working out kinks and trying to make it at least usable enough to do one round. It is now time to do Round 1.

After each round we'll produce a podcast of the winners and losers, doing interviews, commentary, and playing their music. The show will be funny, and focused on guitar players and their playing.
