This Round Is Done!
Round 1 was nerdy and random and had source code.
Everybody hated it.
Round 2 is better. Round 2 leaves no room for excuses for why your puny fingers can't play. Round 2 has one key. Round 2 has no notes. Round 2 is all solo, all the time. Round 2 is only chords. Easy chords.
POWER CHORDS.
If you can't make a submission from Round 2, then you suck. I hear they don't play metal in Piano. You should go play piano.
The Rules
The rules for this round are simple:
You have tab, a recording of the chords in a metal style, and a jazz style (for the old people).
The Progressions
Refer to the tab, but you need some variation of the following chords in the key of Eb (or possibly Bb depending on how you look at it):
Try power chords, try minor chords, try Major/Minor chords (those are great). Play them in any order, add chords around them, connect them, do whatever you can, but above all else:
It must have these two progressions in it.
The Solos
You must solo over your chords. This means you'll be recording your Rhythm and solo parts.
The Metal
Make it Brutal. We want tone in this one. This is all about interpretation, speed, and tone. By Wed. we should have gear port working and you can send in pictures of your gear.
The gear that makes you sound hardc0re.
Bass Players
You wanted to play Fret War? I know you can play some chords on a guitar, why don't you lay down the rhythm, and then show us what you got on the Bass.
Let the games begin. And don't forget to rate this round and comment.
