All original 1968 Fender Mustang Bass.

My first intrument I ever owned.

I got it when I was 15 for $65 and used it in a bunch of punk bands in high school. Two times 2nd place in our Orange County battle of the bands.

I didn’t know what it was actually worth so I would skateboard around with it (w/o a case—occasionally flying off the board with it—truth) and as you can see I painted it and put stickers on it.

This bass is so rare that I plan on keeping it forever no matter what it is worth. The electronics aren’t great anymore but when it works it has a unmistakable vintage sound that I absolutely love. And it is 3/4 size so I can rip really fast on the frets and sound like I know what I’m doing.
